Animated Lightning
Remember that great Christmas commercial with lighting effects set to
music? Now you can do the same for Halloween. There's pre-programmed
kits or you can build your own. Very Choul.

Buy Costumes
Good costume selection. The zoom interface for product images is the
best. I ordered my costume for this year from this site. It has order
tracking which I really like and my costume arrived in good shape. The
zoom feature gives it an oooh rating in my book.

Fox Productions
This site is fun to visit
just for their prop videos if for no other reasons-they were
mesmerizing. Primarily a custom prop builder, they have a pre-built
Skulltronix for sale. This is an amazing animated skel-head. You
really need to see their video to appreciate it. You will need to click
the "creature fx" tab. Obviously not cheap but well worth the base
price of $1299 (as of my last viewing). Extras features are available.

Fright Catalog
Huge product selection.
Excellent user interface. Great customer service. Video clips of
animated props. Music to browse by. I visit here all the time. Most of my stuff has come from this site.

The Frighteners
This is a great single
site for a wide choice of Halloween
products. Great music selection for best price I’ve seen. Not all prices
are a steal though so shop carefully. Some categories are sparse. There
are some graphics issues and some navigation issues but overall still
worth the visit due to terrific breadth of product and some very good
and unique packaging deals.

Grandin Road
This decor site also
offers some unique Halloween decorations such as life-sized wrapped
mummies, spooky pathway trees and a black draped cauldron. Once there,
do a keyword search on Halloween.

HalloweenForum.com
This is the BEST Halloween
forum around. Lots of contributors. Tons of ideas. You have to go there.
It's so good that I took my forum off this site-there's no competition.

Haunted Lighthouses
I love a creepy haunt
story and this site has a nice collection of lighthouse legends. The
stories are short so you can get your goosebumps going pretty quickly.
The navigation side bar is a little quirky but overall, this is a nice
little site.

HalloweenMask.com
This is a masks only site.
There are over a 1000 pages and growing. With this many choices, you’re
sure to find a mask that will create the image you’re looking for.
Most of the masks are not available in stores and some are not made
until an order is placed. You can view masks by price ranges starting as
low as under $30 but due to the volume of masks, search and sort
features would make this site easier to use. The ok rating is due only
to lack of these features.

Oak Island
This site has some great
products and some of them are unique to Oak Island. It's worth a visit
but I found it time consuming and a little difficult to navigate. For
instance, they have a great Haunted Table that is not priced out of the
home haunter's budget but if you don't know about it, it's very hard to
find. Professional scene setting materials and consultation are also
available. I'd rate this site higher if not for it's navigation. Update:
This site has been redesigned and while it's easier to navigate, it's
still needs some work. It has several more products though.

Opacity
"Prepare to spend some
time at this site", a comment on HalloweenForum.com, intrigued me to do
so. You should also. Fabulous, absorbing photography of abandoned
buildings with interior photos leaning toward the dark side. The site
allows comments so you can share your thoughts with others.

Scair Structures
Here's a site that I
discovered that is not your usual Halloween site. You can purchase or
rent an inflatable building for your haunted house. How cool is that?
Movement around the site is only ok but because it's such a great
concept, it gets 3 eyeballs.

SinisterSpace.com
If you're a Halloweeniac then SinisterSpace.com is the place for you. A
MySpace type website, this one is chouler: It's
for Halloween enthusiasts only so everyone is one of us. It has an
easy to use page design tool that's incorporated into it that
let's you create great profile effects. Update: While still a good site,
there are many members now so this
is not a small bootique site anymore.

Theatrical Nightmare
I was drawn in from the first second I went to the website.
On the Home page there is a video of the haunted house that made me feel
like I HAD to go to this. What is really cool though, is that there are
3 Live Web Cams inside the house that broadcast live. I couldn't go the
first weekend, but it was cool to watch other people getting scared as
they went through.

Ult-Tex
Halloween countdown
banners for your Halloween pages and emails. There are lots of
choices from cute to creepy. I have one on my home page. Last time
I checked there were 53. You can't modify them but they're so easy
to use. Just cut & paste.
