Haunted Chandelier

Haunted Chandelier

I first saw this at a Spencer's and I think I got whiplash as I turned around to see it better. It's terrific and a total eye-catcher although not as large as you think it's going to be when hung high enough to miss heads. It shakes and the crystals (simulated) have a great tinkley creepy sound. There are pieces of faux moss hanging from it that add to the spooky effect. I've seen it as low as $59.98 online.

Perfect Storm (lightning effects) # PS110304

From Spooky F/X. This is unbelievably cool. We hooked it up the afternoon we received it. Thunder and wind sounds are realistic and make you feel like running for shelter. Comes with a proprietary CD that must be used for this unit to work. Great price at $185.

Bird of Prey Candy Bowl

Cute. Bird talks, wings flap, eyes light up. Motion activated. Works pretty well but must be close to sensor. Got ours from Amazon.com for about $40.

Swamp Witch (mask)

From Death Studios. Very, very creepy. This mask is excellent quality and looks every bit as scary as you think it does. Very roomy; maybe even too roomy for my head so most should find this pretty comfortable. A little pricey at $80 but the quality is worth it.

Grossferatu

Foam filled latex Halloween prop. Manufacturer is Morbid Industries We can't wait to put him in our graveyard each year. He's actually much more green tinted than this photo shows. Prices vary so shop around.

13th Hour CD

From Midnight Syndicate. I think that everyone needs a Halloween music CD from this group. To me, their CDs sound very similar but what a great mood setter. Dark and eerie. Love this.

Mist Maker with Led

You can make your own misting fog props by purchasing just the mist maker. Look for prices to start around $25. Available from several online stores. Should start appearing on shelves soon.

New! Peep N Peepers

Peep N Peepers

3 sets of eyes about 40" apart that blink independently. More cute than creepy. Takes a minute before they start blinking. Couldn't find these for sale for a very long time. Just found them online at Illuminations for $25. A little expensive I think.

Update: smarthome.com has these for $19.99

Vampyrz products

Unique product idea: candles and fragrances labeled with a "dark twist" such as American Werewolf, Dammed, Ancient Waters. I found the fragrances I sampled too strong for me but the candles I tested offered a few scents that I did like. With over 100 fragrances, you'll probably find some that you will enjoy. Free samples are available with a low shipping fee. See vampyrz.com for more information.
